 Lee Kaplan is an undercover investigative journalist who has been published and on radio and television internationally. He has appeared as a contributing editor or regular columnist at FrontPage Magazine, Israel National News, Canada Free Press and IsraCampus.

 Kaplan is also a senior intelligence analyst and communications director for the Northeast Intelligence Network. He is a fellow at Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld's American Center for Democracy and a member of the advisory council at the Intelligence Summit.

 Kaplan is also an expert researcher on the proliferation of Khomeinism among the Shia Muslims in the United States, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he is currently based.

Kaplan has visited Saba Islamic Center while undercover on multiple occasions. He attended a Saba Youth Group (SYG) occasion during which Dr. Mazhar Khan of Morgan Hill, California, "preached that Jews and Christians are lacking in moral character and that their religions are corrupt." Kaplan captured the offensive speech of Dr. Khan on a video camera and shared it with this author.

Kaplan was also among the first authors to write about Rafic Labboun (a.k.a. Wilhelm Dyck), a Hezbollah leader, convicted felon, international fugitive, impersonator, and imam with Saba Islamic Center.

 Moreover, Kaplan has investigated Velayat TV USA and its host, the Khomeinist mullah Zaheer ul Hassan (a.k.a. Molana Syed Zaheer ul Hassan Naqvi). Velayat TV USA is based in Dublin, California. Zaheer, a Pakistani national and naturalized US citizen, made violent comments to his viewers. Kaplan looked at that and gave an in-depth analysis about Velayat TV USA.

 Indeed, Kaplan's efforts were instrumental in the unearthing and exposure of the toxic Khomeinist ecosystem stealthily spreading beneath an unaware San Francisco Bay Area society.
